A graduate of Northridge HIgh School and Otterbein College, John is a life long resident of Licking County.   He has over 25 years experience in the banking industry, specializing in a variety of residential mortgage lending.  John attends the majority of the closings for our new buyers and is a great advocate for the first time homebuyer.

Dave has been preparing individual tax returns for clients across America with David B. Wills and Associates since 1999.  He holds a BA in finance from The Ohio State University and has called the Newark area home since 1987.  Dave enjoys volunteering for the Boy Scouts' Camp Falling Rock and The Works, and serves as a trustee for The Rock Foundation and The LeFevre Foundation.

Dave says he loves working with Licking County Housing Inc. because it helps families and the community by providing affordable housing and improving neighborhoods. Dave describes himself project-oriented and enjoys being involved with building and renovation projects. 

Other interests include the cultivation of a tree farm, running a portable sawmill for scout camp and the art of timber-framing.  He is also a dedicated scientist - experiment with home-brewing, to create the perfect batch of beer.

Shari Gaston, Member

A native Southern Californian, Shari was trained in bookkeeping/accounting and office management.  She owned a successful construction business before moving to Arkansas in 1977. Within twenty years she had built a prosperous business manufacturing cedar shavings for Hartz Mountain, Inc.
After moving to Texas in 2002, she worked with a prison ministry until 2008; at which time she moved to Newark, Ohio.  

Shari is a writer and a part-time missionary to Honduras.  She provides a tremendous voice for low and moderate income people and their housing needs in the City of Newark.
